G Adventures has confirmed its tourism summit, GX, will return this year, taking place in India.

Following its inaugural event in Cusco, Peru, last year, the operator has said the second GX Summit will once again host agents and suppliers alongside media and travellers.

A total of 15 agents from the UK will be given a place as part of a contingent of 75 winners from around the globe.

The event will take place from 24-29 September.

Organised by G Adventures and its non-profit partner, Planeterra, the summit will also incorporate the Change Makers agent event and culminates in a celebration on World Tourism Day (27 September). Agents will be taken on a six-day trip across places such as Delhi, Jaipur and Agra.

The Change Makers campaign ‘incentivises agents to focus on changing people’s lives through travel’ by booking G Adventures trips. Agents can enter to earn a place by booking G Adventures trips before 31 May.
