Linsey is a well-established travel writer who cut her teeth in journalism at The Star newspaper in Sheffield before joining Travel Weekly as a senior writer.
She has since contributed to numerous national and international titles including The Telegraph, The Times, Sunday Times Travel Magazine, The Express, The Observer, GQ, the London Evening Standard, Which? and the South China Morning Post.
Linsey was most recently Editor of the travel trade news site TravelMole.com.

Lisa was a reporter on the Derby Evening Telegraph before joining Travel Weekly, where she had stints as Cruise Correspondent, Business Travel Reporter, Features Reporter, News Editor, then Deputy Editor.
Since 2006 she’s been freelance, with recent roles including Editor of Corporate Traveller’s magazine, Gateway, and Deputy Editor of TravelMole.com.
She’s also part of the media team at Remembering Wildlife, the fundraising charity photobook series that has donated more than $1m to much-needed conservation projects in 24 countries.

Anwar Sohawon
Sales Director
Anwar started his travel trade media career at Travel Daily before moving to Travel Weekly then to TTG (Travel Trade Gazette) and now oversees Travel Gossip’s commercial strategy.
Having spent ten plus years in the travel industry, Anwar is very passionate about training and educating travel agents on brands’ USPs – whether a destination, tour operator, hotel, airline or cruise line – to drive their sales.
Anwar has a deep understanding of travel agent behaviour and works with our partners and the Travel Gossip team to create innovative campaigns. He has a real zest for travel himself, with hiking up the twenty-six mile Inca Trail to Machu Picchu being one of his favourite experiences.

Jessica Simpson

Jessica joined us from Youtravel to focus on new business opportunities for Travel Gossip and to take extra care of our existing clients.
Jessica is an experienced business development manager having spent the last 5 years in the travel industry.
She loves the great variety of people she is building long-term relationships with and gets great satisfaction in supporting them to achieve their business objectives.

Mark Frost
Senior Account Manager
Mark is a seasoned business development professional with a 9-year track record within sales.
He has previously worked with some prominent tech giants such as Microsoft as well as a global Luxury International Travel Business Development Manager where he managed worldwide territories including South America, USA and experiential travel offerings.
Mark has a huge passion for travelling the world and gathering new found knowledge and cultural experiences.

Katherine Starkey

Katherine joined our team from Destinology in 2019 and managed all our of trade social media campaigns and eMarketing.
Katherine is an experienced social media consultant, she combines strategic vision with a genuine care for creative and campaign optimisation.
Katherine has over 20 years’ industry experience; working for leading tour operators including Destinology, Al Fresco Holidays, Cresta, Virgin and Thomas Cook.

Amanda Mogey
Events Manager
Amanda has joined Travel Gossip from her previous role as Head of Event Logistics, working on B2B networking conferences and summits, and has extensive experience in managing events in many industries across the UK, Europe and USA.
Amanda is hosting and managing the Travel Gossip Roadshow, as well as developing Travel Gossip’s bespoke events services.
Amanda has a huge her passion for events and always goes the extra mile to ensure our events are of a high quality.

Melissa Cuthbert-Imrie
Trade Relationships Manager
Melissa has over ten years of experience working in the travel industry holding various sales and cruise specialist roles at companies such as Scotland’s Cruise Centre and Barrhead Travel. Melissa managing and develops Travel Gossip’s relationships with the trade as well as hosting our ‘Take 5’ online events and in-person roadshows.
Melissa has a real sense of wanderlust and enjoys nothing more than exploring a new destination and immersing herself in trying new cuisines and cultural experiences. Some of her favourite destinations include Singapore, Cambodia and Dubai.
