Palladium Hotel Group has added new properties in Sicily and Menorca and is just waiting for the go-ahead to take agents on fam trips this summer. Senior Business Development Manager for the UK and Ireland Joanne Peters explains more about the new additions to the portfolio, which are scheduled to open on May 28.
Why Sicily?
We’re expanding one of our key luxury brands, Grand Palladium Hotels & Resorts. Two properties, the Grand Palladium Sicilia Resort & Spa and Grand Palladium Garden Beach Resort & Spa, will open on the south of the island, on the beachfront in the town of Campofelice di Roccella, close to Palermo and the airport. The hotels will have 10 hectares of exclusive facilities, inspired by ‘la bella vita’, with a total of 469 rooms and suites.
How can agents sell them?
These five-star hotels offer something for everyone, with amazing kids’ facilities and adult-only experiences, including six bars; four swimming pools (including the one pictured above); Zentropia Palladium Spa & Wellness; a baby club and kids’ club.
The brand’s all-inclusive Infinite Indulgence, with unlimited dining in three a la carte restaurants.
It’s two hotels in one resort: stay in one, play in two. Guests can use all the facilities in both hotels.
They’re in a prime location on a wonderful sandy beach within easy reach of many attractions.
And Menorca?
The 264-room, four-star Palladium Hotel Menorca is 20 minutes from Mahon and the airport, offering all-inclusive and half-board options. Guests can try traditional dishes from the Balearic Islands as well as international cuisine; drink in three bars and enjoy live performances and a wide range of activities and entertainment for all ages. The opening of the hotel will coincide with a new tourism campaign to promote the island and aid the island’s recovery.

It’s a four-star hotel that has been completely refurbished – perfect for families and couples.

How will you help agents sell the new hotels?
We have been running training sessions for the travel agents and our trade partners via Zoom since last August, with fun and informative sessions that help bring the properties to life. We also participate in events by Travel Gossip and other partners and promote the latest news and updates on our Facebook page, Palladium for Agents – Unofficial, and Instagram. We create lots of social media posts to help agents inspire their customers.
