The trade team for TUI, Marella Cruises and Crystal Ski visited the Hays Travel head office for a day of training, brand experiences and prize giving last week.

It followed a change of strategy by TUI to begin working more closely with independent agents, including introducing more favourable commercial terms and an expansion of its trade team.

Hays head office staff were joined at the training day by agency staff and homeworkers.

In addition to training, the day included a pop up photo booth for teams, with prizes for the best one, interactive games and 400 donuts were delivered for an afternoon treat. Prizes, announced on a Facebook live session, included holiday vouchers, a team night out, a taster indoor ski session and prosecco.

TUI UK and Ireland Head of Trade Relations Andrew Isherwood said: “It was great to see Hays Travel colleagues engaged with our team and products to further support them in selling TUI to their customers.”
