CLIA UK head Andy Harmer and Cosmos Tours CEO Giles Hawke will be among the guest speakers at InteleTravel’s first overseas conference for UK travel agents.
The two-day event will be held in Valencia in Spain from next Thursday.
It will be the second conference for Inteletravel’s agents in the UK, following an event in Glasgow in 2019, but the first to be held abroad.
UK boss Tricia Handley-Hughes said around 200 of Inteletravel’s 10,500 UK agents are due to attend the conference.
The company’s founder and President, US-based James Ferrara, will give a presentation, titled ‘A fantastic year of growth’ on the opening day.
Andy Harmer and Giles Hawke will appear in a panel session, called ‘Overcoming challenges to create successful businesses’, together with founder and CEO of Not in the Guidebooks Carol Savage and Major Travel Director Qasim Gulamhusein.
Virgin Voyages Associate Vice President of International Sales Shane Riley will also attend the event along with representatives from Carnival Cruises, Uniworld, Inghams and Contiki.
