Travel management company Norad Travel group has been sold to one of Israel’s largest TMCs, Talma Shlomo Travel Solutions.

Hampshire-based Norad is a member of ABTA, the Business Travel Association and the Advantage Travel Partnership.

It also owns leisure travel agents Howard Travel in Trowbridge and Erne Travel in Enniskillen, Northern Ireland.

The sale to Talma Shlomo Travel Solutions, which changed its name from Talma Travel and Tourism earlier this year, was brokered by UK-based Summit Advisory.

Talma has a team of around 200 staff working in five locations and serves more than 3000 companies.

Norad Chairman Mick Gibbs said: “We have got to know the Talma team well and believe in their ambitions to build a global travel entity.

“I am particularly happy to see the talent and technology from both organisations come together to create a world-class travel business.”
