South African Airways has closed its UK and Ireland office.

A message on its website says the office closed at the end of September.

It adds: “SAA began operating to the UK in 1945 and suspended operations in March 2020 as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“SAA would like to thank the many UK&I staff that have served the airline during this period.

“The airline continues to operate domestic and regional services within Africa.

“Should you have any enquiries regarding unflown ticket liability please email [email protected].”
