Norse Atlantic Airways will add new services from London to Orlando and Fort Lauderdale in May.

Gatwick to Orlando flights will start on 25 May and flights from Gatwick to Miami’s Ford Lauderdale will start the following day.

Fares will lead in at £409 return, including taxes.

The new routes will be in addition to Norse’s daily flights between London and New York, which started in August 2022.

Orlando flights will operate four times a week in May and June, increasing to daily during the summer. Fort Lauderdale flights will operate three times a week in May and June and four times a week for the rest of the summer season.

Norse said it will launch other US destinations from Gatwick by the end of February.

The routes will be served by Boeing 787s, which offer both economy and premium seating.
