Gold Medal brand Cruise Plus is embarking on a marketing crusade – with one agent poised to win a trip to Venice and a seven-night voyage with Celebrity Cruises.

The operator has joined forces with the cruise line to tap into the ‘real momentum’ it says is emerging as travel restrictions ease.

Along with social media activity, shop displays and a 12-page guide on Celebrity’s ships, the campaign will feature an agency incentive with a Cruise Plus holiday up for grabs.

To be in the running, agents must make any Cruise Plus booking between today and 28 February. If the booking is with Celebrity, the agent will receive two entries into the prize draw.

The winning retailer will receive two return flights and three nights in Venice and a seven-night Eastern Med cruise in a balcony cabin on Celebrity Infinity. The cruise departs Venice on 18 June and takes in Croatia, Montenegro and Greece.

All taxes, tips, class drinks and basic Wifi will also be included.

Gold Medal sales director Nick Hughes said: “Coming hot on the heels of the launch of our new Cruise Plus brochure last week, and right as we’re seeing some real momentum building in calls and bookings now the enhanced travel restrictions have been lifted, we’re confident that this incentive will excite and motivate agents.

“Our dedicated cruise sales and admin teams will do everything they can to help agents secure their bookings so they can enter, and they should watch out for the supporting material and collateral in the coming days.”

Tio enter, agents should email booking references numbers to [email protected].

The winner will be announced in early March.
