Malta Tourism Authority is inviting tour operators to join a voucher scheme to attract older, longer stay visitors to the island during the autumn.
It is offering €100 of government vouchers for every person aged 65 and over who books at least a 15-night stay in the Maltese islands between 18 October and 19 December this year.
The vouchers are available for collection on arrival in Malta and can be spent in participating restaurants, accommodation and shops.
Malta Tourism Authority is asking tour operators to register their interest in the €1m scheme, which is operating across all markets. They must state how many customers they expect to use the scheme.
Operators that are interested should contact Malta Tourism Authority’s trade marketing manager, Natalie Swinburne by 5pm on Friday at [email protected].
