Malta’s new national carrier KM Malta Airlines will start flying from 31 March.

The airline has taken over from Air Malta and is operating the same routes on its eight Airbus A320 aircraft, using the same code, KM.

KM Malta Airlines’ aircraft have a two-class configuration with a flexible Business Class cabin. The airline will serve the same routes as its predecessor, including Gatwick and Heathrow.

Visit Malta Director UK & Ireland Tolene van der Merwe said: “We’re excited to see a new player redefine travel experiences and set new standards of excellence in the industry, continuing airlift from the UK to the Maltese Islands.”
