Jet2 has brought forward the start of its summer 2022 season to Menorca to early April due to a high level of bookings for the Spanish island for next year.
The early start will mean customers will be able to book flights and packages to Menorca for Easter 2022.
Jet2.com has added flights to the island from Birmingham, Leeds Bradford, Manchester, Newcastle and London Stansted airports.
Its package holiday arm Jet2holidays reported last week that bookings for summer 2022 are strong, and that more people than usual have booked their summer holiday a year in advance.
CEO Steve Heapy said: “We are seeing great demand from customers wanting to enjoy Menorca both in the peak summer season and outside of that period too.
“As ever, we respond very quickly to demand, and these additional flights gives our customers the opportunity to enjoy Menorca in April and over the Easter holidays.”
The new flights are:
- Birmingham – additional services every Friday from 8 to 22April.
- Leeds Bradford, Manchester, Newcastle and London Stansted – additional services every Saturday from 9to 23 April.
