Intrepid Travel has recorded its strongest financial performance in its 34 years of trading, posting a net profit of £11.2 million for 2023.

The figure compares to a loss of £9m in 2022. Intrepid also made a record contribution to charitable and community causes of £2.4m last year.

Bookings increased 68% to £320m, revenue was up 113% to £276m. 

CEO James Thornton said: “Last year was a phenomenal year of growth and our team demonstrated innovation and determination. This has set the foundation for Intrepid to embark on its journey towards its ambitious future targets.”
