Hong Kong is to ban all British travellers because of concerns over the Delta variant.

Passenger flights from the UK will not be allowed to land from 1 July.

The Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office has updated its advice to say: “From 1 July, the UK will move onto the Hong Kong SAR government’s list of ‘extremely high risk’ places.

“This means that from 1 July all passenger flights from the UK will be prohibited from landing in Hong Kong and that all passengers who have visited the UK for more than two hours in the past 21 days will be denied entry to Hong Kong.”
