Hays Travel has said its fly-cruise charter programme has been ‘such a success’ with almost 2,000 passengers heading to Barbados over the winter months.
Using six regional airports, Hays Travel chartered flights for customers who were travelling to the Caribbean island for a P&O Cruises holiday between November and March. Staff were also on hand throughout the two-week cruises.
The company is now promoting its winter 2025/26 fly-cruise, which it says it is selling fast.
Cruise Communications and Engagement Executive Angela Flynn added: “The P&O charters have been such a success. All six flights were sold out and we have had so much positive feedback from customers regarding this unique offering.
“Customers have expressed how well they were looked after – from being greeted at the airport with smiling faces and a drink to knowing that there were Hays Travel representatives onboard the ship if they had any questions or concerns. And travelling from their local airport direct to Barbados obviously made things so much more convenient and offered great value for money.
“Winter 2025 and 2026 exclusive fly-cruise holidays from regional airports are on sale and selling exceptionally fast, so we advise customers to get in touch now if they’d like some winter sun to look forward to!”
Prices for winter 2025/26 fly-cruises start from £1,949 per person.
