Hays Travel Foundation has doubled the £2,445 raised by more than 150 Hays Personal Travel Consultations for the mental health charity Young Minds at a bingo event last December.

The charity event was organised by Head of Hays Travel PTC division Tanya Cooper and a working party of Business Development Coaches. It included a day of virtual bingo and prize giveaways provided by suppliers, concluding with a bingo and quiz evening.

Tanya said: “We are very grateful to our supplier partners for their huge generosity. Vista, Celebrity Cruises, Beachcomber, Cosmos, MSC, Wendy Wu, Traveltopia, Travelpack, Oceania, Cunard, NCL, Holland America, and Ever After donated some incredible prizes which our lucky PTCs were thrilled to win. 

“Plus, there were fabulous hampers, vouchers, and treats to win and three fam trips.”

Hays Chief Operating Officer Jonathon Woodall-Johnston added: “The day was a massive success – making a huge £2,445 for Young Minds – and really brought our network of PTCs together and we received lots of positive feedback. I was pleased to donate the most sought-after prize – two Hays Travel SMILE cushions!” 

Young Mins will receive a total donation of £4,890.
