The head of cruise.co.uk’s new luxury and expedition agency has left the company after her role was made redundant.

Cruise.co.uk launched Above & Beyond in February 2023 to target the top end of the market.

It was led by Elaine Ross, Head of Luxury & Expedition, who was previously Head of Commercial at Iglu.

However, Elaine announced in a LinkedIn post that ‘sadly’ her role had been made redundant last week.

She said she is now ‘on the lookout for a new opportunity’.

Cruise.co.uk said her previous role will be covered by Dylan David, who was promoted from Head of Trading to Trading Director last December. His new remit cover both cruise.co.uk and Above & Beyond, it said.

“The Above & Beyond luxury brand continues to operate with a dedicated product team, reporting directly into Dylan,” it added. “Our focus on the luxury sector remains as strong as ever.”
