Barrhead Travel has confirmed the appointment of a new Regional Sales Manager for Scotland.

Dunfermline-based Matt Hands started his new role on Monday 8 August and will oversee sales for Barrhead Travel’s Scottish retail network, reporting into Head of Sales Scotland Linda Armit.

Hands has worked in travel retail for over 20 years, including working as a store manager with Barrhead Travel between 2009 and 2019.

He moves back to Barrhead Travel following an initial change of industry to a retail optician before rejoining travel as Store Manager for Hays Travel’s Gyle store before the pandemic.
