Portugal has relaxed COVID rules, while Switzerland has announced it will do so from next month.

The Visit Portugal tourist board says Passenger Locator Forms are no longer required.

The requirement to wear face masks indoors has also been scrapped, according to an official state bulletin.

Visit Portugal has updated its guidance to say: “The law that required filling in the Passenger Locator Form on all flights to Portugal has been revoked, so it is no longer necessary to present it at the time of boarding.”

It confirmed to Travel Gossip that the rules apply to Portugal and the islands.

For current entry requirements, see here.

Meanwhile, unvaccinated travellers from all countries will be able to enter Switzerland from 2 May.

Until 2 May, all travellers to Switzerland must have a valid vaccination or recovery certificate to visit the country.
