National Holidays, which became part of JG Travel Group last year, has enlisted Flexi Reps to increase its trade engagement.

From 4 May, two reps will be out visiting travel agents in the operators’ key sales areas as demand for UK holidays continues to increase.

The two Flexi Reps will report to Trade Sales Manager Claire Dutton. Agents in the north east and north west will be targeted in line with the operator’s main pick up points.

JG Travel Group Sales and Yield Director Matthew Herbert said: “The National Holidays brand joined our portfolio in 2020 and we’ve worked hard to build its profile with agents since then.

“Moving forward we want to do more and ensure those in the main departure regions know more about who we are and how best to promote and sell our products.

“This year the opportunity for domestic holidays is arguably greater than ever.

“Having two additional reps out on the road making store visits will help us share our plans face-to-face with agents, now their doors have opened again.

“We want to make sure agents have the right knowledge and tools at their fingertips to capitalise on every opportunity.”

Flexi Reps Managing Director Craig Davidson added: “As we emerge from the pandemic and life is breathed back into the high street it’s great to see businesses like National Holidays jump into action quickly to get out and share their plans with travel agents.”
