Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have added more autumn flights and holidays to Madeira and Malta in response to ‘very strong demand’ from customers and independent travel agents.

For Madeira, Jet2 has added additional Friday services from Birmingham, additional Saturday services from Manchester and a new Friday service from Leeds Bradford throughout September and October.

These flights are in addition to an existing programme of weekly services from Bristol, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Newcastle Airports, as well as twice-weekly services from Stansted.

For Malta, extra capacity has been added from Manchester and Stanstead, in addition to weekly services from Glasgow and twice-weekly services from Birmingham, Newcastle and Leeds Bradford.

CEO Steve Heapy said: “Madeira and Malta are seeing very strong demand.

“It is clear autumn breaks are in demand this year, so we have responded to that trend by giving customers and independent travel agents even more choice in September and October.”
