Exsus Travel has recruited Christine Cummings to the role of Senior Worldwide Travel Expert.

With more than 35 years’ experience in the travel industry, Ms Cummings has worked with travel agencies, hotel groups, destination management companies and luxury tour operators.

Her most recent role in travel was with Inspired by Asia, where she spent eight years.

However, during the pandemic she left the travel industry to spend a brief period working for a bank.

“I am so pleased to be joining Exsus Travel,” she said. “Due to the pandemic, I was forced to switch careers, as so many had to do, and I really missed the travel profession – so I am thrilled to be back.”

In her new sales role, Ms Cummings will be taking bookings and enquiries from both the trade and consumers, focusing mainly on her specialist areas of the Caribbean and Asia.
