Wembley-based budget travel specialist Cheap Cost Holidays has ceased trading.

The ATOL-holder, run by Humzah Shaikh since August 2019, was licensed to carry 2,650 people.

It also traded under the names Cheap Cost Business Class, Cheap Cost Flights, Cheap Cost Holidays, Cheap Cost Hotels, Cheap Cost Travel, Cheap Traveler, Holiday Formula, Dial 4 Holidays, Refresh Holidays, Top City Breaks, Holiday Shoppy.

Its website, www.cheapcostholidays.co.uk, is no longer working.

Documents filed with Companies House show that the business was incorporated in 2015 and, as of December 2020, had £77,463 of assets.

It employed just one person, Sales Director Humzah Shaikh.

The CAA said it is currently collating information about the company.
