Travel Gossip and Ginger Juice Managing Director Bruce Martin has been voted onto the board of the Institute of Travel and Tourism.

Bruce is one of four new faces to join the board.

The other three are Stansted Airport Head of Health, Safety and Fire Teresa Arnone, All Nippon Airways UK and Ireland Country Sales Manager Julie Murphy and TTG Media CEO Daniel Pearce.

Leeds Beckett University Head of Tourism and Hospitality Management Peter Robinson and Tourism Ireland Strategy Implementation Manager Donna Allcock were re-elected.

Bruce said: “I’m really excited to be joining the board and representing the views of Travel Gossip’s agency members at board level.

“I’m looking forward to my first meeting as a board member next month.”

The ITT Conference is taking place next week at the Hilton Istanbul Bomonti in Turkey.

Conference sessions will be based around the theme East Meets West: Breaking Down Barriers.

The event runs from 14-16 June.
