Lancashire travel company Uni-Travel Ltd, which operated to Canada and South Africa, among other destinations, has ceased trading.

The company traded under several names, including Farm Tours, Ranch Rider, The Independent Traveller and Uni-Travel, as well as through the websites itiscanada.co.uk, itissouthafrica.co.uk, ranchrider.com and unitravel.co.uk. 

The CAA said it is collating further information from the company and will update its advice as soon as possible.

A message on one of the company’s websites says: “Uni-Travel Limited trading as The Independent Traveller and Ranch Rider has ceased trading with immediate effect.

“The directors and staff would like to thank you for your support over the last 40 years.”
