River cruise operator A-ROSA will put its entire fleet on sale in the UK next year as the company prepares to reshape its premium all-inclusive product.
All 13 of its ships – including the A-ROSA SENA which launches in May and five vessels which serve the German market – will be available to book by UK agents, the operator confirmed.
A-ROSA River Cruises UK & Ireland Managing Director Lucia Rowe said having a full international fleet will open up more dates for the UK trade.
The operator also revealed it will strengthen its sales teams to work closely with the trade.
“We remain 100% committed to the trade and in order to maximise on opportunities and drive greater awareness, we are busy recruiting two regional sales managers who will be out on the road meeting with agents,” Ms Rowe said.
“We also recognise how important experiencing our product is in the sales process and are looking at ways to get as many agents as possible on board in the next two years.”
In a further development, A-ROSA said it is set to “reimagine” its product with new flexible dining options, free room service in every cabin and new off-the-beaten track excursions.
More details will be unveiled in the spring.
Meanwhile, the brand launched its 2023 programme with a number of new itineraries including one way Rhine cruises between Amsterdam and Basel and a range of new northern Rhine cruises.
