Visit Malta has relaunched its Malta Training Programme, and agents who sign up can boost their chances of winning a place on the destination’s next fam trip.

Four new courses are already available on the revamped programme, and three more are due to go live by the end of the year.

The programme has a new badge system that identifies key agents undertaking training and making bookings, who can win a place on a future Malta Academy Fam trip.

A new webinar series will be launched next year.

Visit Malta recently signed up with Travel Gossip’s Big Agent Rewards programme, where agents earn points for securing bookings, with additional points available for supplementary bookings such as overnight stays, Air Malta flights and excursions.

One agent a month until the end of the year will be chosen to join the 2024 Malta Academy Fam trip.

Runners-up will receive a Gastronomy Goody Bag which includes a bottle of Maltese wine, candles and a Maltese cookbook.
