Simply Cuba and the Cuban Tourist Office are running a fam trip to Cuba’s eastern coastline.

The trip will use new direct flights from the UK that will launch next month.

To make it open to agents nationwide the fam trip will fly out on the inaugural new direct flight from London Gatwick to Cayo Coco departing on 5 May and return from Holguin on 10 May into Manchester, arriving in the early afternoon of the 11th.

The itinerary is still being finalised, but the fam trip will focus on the beach resorts of Cayo Coco (pictured), Holguin and Guardalavaca, showcasing the variety of accommodation served by the new direct routes, Gatwick to Cayo Coco and Manchester to Holguin, which are due to start in May. It’s expected between eight and 10 agents will be on the fam.

Business Development Manager Alan Meadows said: “This is an amazing opportunity to see this part of the island that has long been popular with UK holiday makers and is famous for being one of the most beautiful areas in Cuba, with stunning beaches and some amazing new hotels that had opened recently.”

Successful agents will be selected by the Cuba Tourist Office and notified at the earliest opportunity.
