Belize Tourism Board has launched its first travel agent reward scheme to encourage more bookings to the central American destination.
All agents can join the new unBelizeable Rewards Programme, which awards them points for every confirmed booking.
Bookings must be submitted via the unBelizeableRewards.com platform and points earned can be used to pay for accommodation at participating hotels.
Properties included in the programme are Alaia Belize, Autograph Collection, The Lodge at Chaa Creek, Naia Resort and Spa, four Muy ‘Ono Resorts, The Lodge at Jaguar Reef and The Rainforest Lodge at Sleeping Giant.
Belize is also offering UK agents training with the launch of a four-module Belize Specialist Programme with Online Travel Training.
The 20-minute programme covers Belize events, gastronomy, Maya sites and marine life plus information on transport, accommodation and popular activities.
