Prestige Travel has launched its biggest ever voucher incentive as part of a raft of new measures to support agents.

The Happy Holidays incentive, launched this month, rewards agents with Love2shop vouchers worth £50 to £200 for all bookings made.

For bookings of up to £5,000, agents will receive £50 in vouchers, while bookings of £5,000 to £10,000 will earn them £100, and bookings for over £10,000 will earn agents a whopping £200.

There’s no need to claim the vouchers, they will be sent automatically as soon as a booking is confirmed.

The voucher scheme is coupled with client discounts, making it easier for agents to secure bookings ahead of the peak selling period.

In addition, there are prize draws for agents to win trips, including a six-night holiday to Tenerife for two for bookings to any Canary Island booked by 9 January 2024 and departing before 31 March 2024, and an educational to Canada in March 2024 for bookings made by 22 January. Agents who make bookings to Canada will receive two entries into the latter draw.

The latest incentives follow the launch of a Prestige competition earlier this year for a £10,000 holiday fund, which was won by Pat Cannell from Macallen Travel.

Prestige Travel Trade Relationship Manager Joe Lavers said: “It’s great to see a range of incentives, from holidays to educational experiences and monetary rewards, catering to different preferences and interests among agents.

“The voucher incentive, in particular, stands out for its simplicity and immediate reward. The Love2Shop vouchers, given out upon confirmation of bookings, provide a tangible and quick gratification for agents based on the value of the bookings they secure.”

Prestige has also promoted Jenny Taylor Page to Brand Ambassador for its Australia and New Zealand programme.

Jenny began with Prestige back in May 2022 and has quickly become an integral part of the programme, exceeding sales targets and building relationships with suppliers and agent partners, said Joe.

“Jenny comes with a wealth of experience, working within the Australia/New Zealand specialist travel sector for many years with an impressive sales history and clear passion for the destinations.

“Her sales experience combined with the product knowledge that she has gained throughout her travel career made Jenny the obvious choice when the Programme Ambassador role came up within Prestige Travel.”

Jenny said: ‘I am very excited to be leading the programme moving forwards, it is an exciting opportunity to really showcase all that Australia and New Zealand have to offer as holiday destinations.

“The brochure changes reflect the specialist knowledge within Prestige Travel and the tailormade service they provide.  There have been changes to some of the day tours based on the post-COVIDtrends where clients are looking for more unique experiences. Examples are the wonderful WintjiriWiru Light show which takes place in the Red Centre – a fantastic cultural experience.

“Changes have also been made to K’gari (formerly known as Fraser Island)  to acknowledge and promote the indigenous culture that plays such an important part in travel to Australia.

“For New Zealand we have extended our offerings, adding Stewart Island into the brochure alongside some new day tours and hotels.

Jenny added: “The biggest change has been our 16-page stopover extension which showcases the options available to clients who are looking to break the long-haul flights on route to Australia/New Zealand.

“We have seen an increase in multi-centre itineraries, and we wanted to really highlight the bespoke service that we offer when it comes to creating our itineraries.

“The stopover extension features some of the many options available to clients as well as the beautiful Pacific Islands of Fiji & Cook Islands, both of which make a fantastic side trip to Australia and New Zealand.”

Joe said Prestige will also be revamping its short haul and Closer to Home brochures to complimentits new Canada brochure, which was launched in July this year.

“The production and increase in brochure copies is part of our commitment to the trade, and the new brochures will be distributed in time for peaks to our valued travel partners.

“The expansion plans beyond the brochures, including a brand new website and destination to be launched in the first half of 2024, more educationals, agent incentives and continued support for those agents that support us,” he added.

Jenny will be running an online Christmas quiz in conjunction with Tourism Australia on 13December at 10am, where agents can win a £250 Love2Shop voucher and Tourism Australia Goody Bag. To register, drop an email to [email protected]
