Journeys Global Group has unveiled its autumn programme, which includes events in New York, Toronto, Italy and Cannes.
The international event organiser, which specialises in uniquely tailored programmes to ensure participants get the most of attendance, is adding events in North America and Italy for the first time.
Taking place on the 25 September in New York and 27 September in Toronto, Journeys in North America is the annual sales trip welcoming 20 hand-picked senior, luxury and MICE suppliers, looking to meet with up to 40 of the best US and Canadian agencies over two days of immersive workshops.
Journeys in North America will turn around the fam trip concept, delivering global suppliers to a destination where the buyers become the hosts.
The trip will feature 25 meetings in total and multiple networking opportunities over unforgettable activities conducted in Journeys’ FAM-MEET way of doing business.
Meetings don’t take place in a traditional conference room with table-top meetings. Instead delegates, through a vast array of local experiences, have the opportunity to build memories together. Memories in turn, build trust, and trust leads to long lasting business relationships.
Fam-meetings during the day include must-see art, hidden-gem stores, bumper car rides, close encounters with giraffes and watching the sunset from iconic rooftops.
Then, from 28 November-1 December, the Journeys in Italy inaugural event will bring together up to 40 of the most exclusive Italian luxury product suppliers and up to 40 high-end travel agencies from the US, Canada and Mexico.
Participants can expect to have up to 25 one-to-one meetings, married with amazing activities pertinent to Italian culture, traditions and lifestyle.
Journeys will close 2023 on the beach on 6 December in Cannes with, what Journeys founder and Managing Director Micaela Giacobbe promises will be ‘a lunch to remember full of unexpected and jaw-dropping surprises’.
Micaela said: “The North American outbound luxury travel market is currently experiencing the fastest growth rate globally according to research agency Euromonitor International, and I am very excited on the launch of two events focusing on this region as we respond to the need of global luxury travel suppliers to establish new relationships in the region and strengthen existing ones.”
Event Director Alex Roca added: “With Journeys in North America and Journeys in Italy we complete the JGG’s 2023 event portfolio. The team and I are looking forward to hosting our imminent digital event, Journeys Digital in March and our first in-person event of the year, Journeys in London on 17 April which are both already sold out.”
