Specialist India tour operator has introduced a new range of short break experiences for 2024.
They offer all the hallmarks of a Village Ways holiday – authentic village homestays, fantastic walking and wildlife, and traditional food, but in a shorter, neater format.
The holidays can take guests from the foothills of the Himalayas to the Rajasthan desert, or from the backwaters of Kerala to the spice gardens of Karnataka, and can be stitched together for an ultimate Indian holiday.
Founded in Binsar in 2005, Village Ways encourages tourism job opportunities in simple but beautiful rural villages in the Indian Himalayas, and central and southern India.
New three-night short breaks include a houseboat cruise on the backwaters of Kerala, from £335 per person; a tented camp in the Himalayas, from £325pp; hiking between villages in the Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary, from £275pp; a stay Village Ways’ exclusive guesthouse in the hillside village of Mothakkara, from £335pp and a typical Western Ghat village in Karnataka, from £367pp.
The trips can be put together to create a longer holiday.
