TUI customers flying from Aberdeen Airport can now use self-service bag drop kiosks following a revamp of the check in area.

The service was phased in at the beginning of January and is now fully operational.

TUI Group Operations Coordinator Aberdeen Barbara Williams said: “We’re delighted to now offer customers the option to use our self-service bag drop kiosks.

“Our priority is to always work to improve the customer journey and make their holiday as smooth as possible from the moment they arrive to the airport and we’re thrilled that they have been so well-received by travellers so far.”

The airport’s Head of Operational Solutions Jamie Loudon said that since the service began ‘customers are able to enjoy more time taking advantage of the airport lounges, restaurants, bars or do some shopping before their flight’.
