The Saint Lucia Jazz & Arts Festival will return this year with more than 30 artists from the island and around the world performing.
This year’s festival will run from 30 April to 12 May and the headline act will be rock band Air Supply.
The event opens with renowned soca [soul and calypso] performer Voice the Artiste, and will conclude with ‘The Ultimate Celebration’ event and Air Supply closing the festival.
Joining them will be acts from a variety of music genres including Davido, Machel Montano, Samara Joy, Beres Hammond, Jon Secada and Chloe Bailey.
The arts scene in Saint Lucia will also be celebrated with events throughout the festival under the theme ‘Art and the City’ with literary, culinary and cultural events.
Saint Lucia Minister of Tourism Ernest Hilaire said: “Building on three decades of star-studded performances that attract visitors from around the world, the 2024 Saint Lucia Jazz & Arts Festival continues our tradition of creating and hosting the Caribbean’s premier jazz and arts event. This year promises an eclectic mix of must-see artists across genres from soca to jazz to world beats to pop, while also showcasing fine arts and Saint Lucia’s creative industries.”
