Newmarket Holidays has launched a nine-day US tour that includes visits to the birthplaces of musical greats Elvis Presley and Dolly Parton.
The escorted touring specialist’s new Ultimate Elvis Presley and Dolly Parton Experience includes stop-offs at Tupelo in Mississippi, where Elvis was born, and Sevier County, where Dolly grew up, in Tennessee.
Customers can also visit the recording studio, RCA Studio B, and the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville, Tennessee.
From there, in the Smoky Mountains that run along the Tennessee-North Carolina border, customers can visit a bronze statue of a guitar-playing Dolly.
There are also optional tours of Sun Studios, where Elvis recorded; his Graceland mansion; and a 50-ride Dolly-themed amusement park called Dollywood.
The itinerary is available from May to November next year, with prices starting from £2,124 per person. Hotels, breakfasts, travel and return flights to Atlanta are included in the price.
A 5% discount is available for bookings made by 2 May.
