Newmarket Holidays has launched a new tour to South-East Asia exclusively for solo travellers.
‘The Heritage of Vietnam & Cambodia’, is the sixth tour to be added to the tour operator’s solo holidays offering – all of which feature a 10% discount for bookings made by 20 October 2023.
The new 14-day tour is a guided group trip that starts in Hanoi, with guests exploring historic highlights that include the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the Temple of Literature and the Củ Chi tunnel complex.
The tour then crosses to Cambodia to visit the capital Phnom Penh, the Mekong River and Angkor Wat, the world’s largest religious monument.
Activities on the tour will include starlit squid fishing, a sunrise tai chi session and cooking classes.
Prices start from £4,135 per person, including accommodation, selected breakfasts, lunches and dinners, tours, transfers and return flights from Heathrow. Departures are from September 2024 to November 2025.
Head of Trade Sales Richard Forde said: “Heritage of Vietnam & Cambodia promises new learnings, flavours and experiences. The tour has been specially crafted so that guests engage with local communities, sample regional delicacies and delve into each country’s enthralling past – it’s a really exciting addition to our solo travel range.
“The popularity of independent travel continue to grow, so we’re helping agents capitalise with a great discount on a range of tours that have thoughtfully balanced itineraries and the security of well-matched groups for travellers to share experiences of a lifetime with.”
As well as six tours that are exclusively for solo travellers, Newmarket Holidays has also removed single supplements from more than 20 classic tours in the UK, Europe and worldwide.
