MSC Cruises has announced that its newest ship, MSC World America, will feature an over-water swing ride.

Set to launch a year from now on 9 April 2025, the line’s newest flagship will debut the Cliffhanger, which MSC claims is the only attraction of its kind at sea.

Set in the ship’s Family Aventura district, Cliffhanger’s four seats will tower above the ship’s top deck and riders will be propelled back and forth, 50 metres above the ocean below.

MSC World America‘s naming ceremony will take place in Miami next April and the ship will sail seven-night Caribbean itineraries.
