London City Airport has completed a major upgrade to its departure lounge aimed at improving passenger experience.

The upgrade has boosted the number of seats in the departure lounge by 30%, created more washrooms, more access to charging stations, a new flagship WHSmith store, and bigger duty free area.

There are also two new restaurants, Hithes, which combines city pub dining and a modern London brasserie and Juniper, offering locally sourced produce.

London City Airport is the closest airport for over half of all Londoners and more than half of passengers now travel for leisure and to visit friends and family.
