HX has unveiled a new Northern Norway itinerary, set to launch in January 2026 at the peak of the aurora season.

The seven-night ‘Ultimate Norway – Arctic Expedition Under the Northern Lights’ itinerary on board the 160-passenger MS Spitsbergen, is inspired by the Norwegian concept of Friluftsliv or ‘free air life,’ which embodies the value Norwegians place on spending time in nature and the outdoors.

The itinerary will spend seven nights entirely above the Arctic Circle, departing from, and returning to, Tromso.

The expedition will explore four iconic regions in Northern Norway, theLyngen Alps, Senja, Lofoten, and Vesterålen during 10 scheduled sailings from January to March 2026.

The itinerary includes a variety of activities such as kayaking, whale watching, nature walks, alpine treks, snowshoeing, community visits, and ski touring.
