HX (Hurtigruten Expeditions) has unveiled its 2026-27 programme, including a solar eclipse cruise and new departures from Dover.

The programme includes a total solar eclipse over East Greenland as part of its ‘Solar Eclipse Expedition’ cruise in August 2026, with calls at Svalbard, Greenland, and Iceland among those on the itinerary.

There will also be new departures from Dover, including ports of all at the Channel Islands, Isles of Scilly and into the Norwegian Fjords.

A new, seven-night ‘Ultimate Norway’ Arctic expedition, will launch in January 2026, travelling to the Lyngen Alps, Lofoten Islands, Vesterålen, and Senja, experiencing polar nights and the Northern Lights.  A special ‘Ultimate Norway at Christmas’ voyage will be available in late 2026.

Hurtigruten is also launching two nine- and 12-night voyages through Alaska’s Inside Passage, and a new nine-day ‘Explorer’s Route’ across the Antarctic Peninsula.
