HX (Hurtigruten Expeditions) has said its ship MS Maud will return to service in April 2024, after it was taken out in December for repairs.
In mid-April, MS Maud will sail around the British Isles, including one trip hosting BBC weather presenter Carol Kirkwood, who will take part in Q&A sessions when she sails from Douglas to Dover.
In July, MS Maud will sail in the Arctic, then head to Antarctica in October for a series of new, immersive expeditions combining the Patagonian fjords with Antarctica.
All MS Maud sailings from April are part of HX’s current Wave Season offer, which include free flights and an additional discount for members of the HX loyalty programme.
Passengers who were originally booked on MS Maud cruises in February and March 2024 have been given the option to receive future cruise vouchers to book a new expedition at a later date or a full refund.
