Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines has announced Bolette will embark on its first 106-night world cruise in 2025.

The ‘Voyage of Exploration Around the World’ cruse will depart from Southampton on 6 January 2025 and will visit destinations including Portugal, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, French Polynesia, Australia, Namibia and South Africa.

Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines Head of Itinerary Planning and Destination Experience Martin Lister said: “This extra special voyage for Bolette’s first world cruise has been hand-crafted by our team of Journey Planners to enable our guests to sail in the wake of famous historical explorers and will follow a similar route to the first world circumnavigation by Magellan and Elcano in 1519.

“It will also cruise the south coast of Australia as British navigator Matthew Flinders did in 1801, and will call into places visited by the likes of Captain James Cook and Alexander Selkirk – the Scottish sailor who was the inspiration for Daniel Defoe’s Robinson Crusoe novel.”

Prices for the cruise start from £12,499 per person.
