Fred Olsen Cruise Lines has included an 11-night Mystery Cruise in a new programme for 2024/25.

The sailing, which is the first departure of its kind since before the pandemic, will depart from Southampton on 12 November 2024.

The line said passengers on the cruise could follow ‘the footsteps of explorers, navigators and seafarers as they guess their next port of call’. Prices start from £1,299.

It added passengers who joined other sailings in the programme could watch natural bird migrations, meteor showers or experience the world’s second largest carnival.

Prices for an 11-night Spain, Portugal and the Spectacular Bird Migration cruise, departing from Liverpool on 1 September start from £1,599 per person.

The line’s Bolette (pictured) ship will operate a 27-night Discovering the Arctic’s Wildlife and Remote Landscapes cruise from Liverpool on 19 July, 2024. Prices start from £3,799.

Departures are also available from Newcastle, Rosyth, Dover and Portsmouth.

To celebrate the programme launch, passengers who book a sailing between five and 12 nights long will receive up to £150 per person to spend on board depending on the length of their cruise.

If the sailing is longer than 12 nights, passengers have the choice of either up to £250pp in onboard spend or free door-to-door transfers.
