Fred. Holidays has launched its first Authentic River Cruises brochure, featuring journeys along the world’s most enchanting waterways including the Mekong, Nile, Ganges, Mississippi, Rhine and Danube.

Highlights include a new eight-night cruise and land package combining a Nile cruise on an authentic luxury dahabiya with stays and sightseeing tours in Cairo, Aswan and Abu Simbel, from £3,499 per person.

Also featured is a 17-night cruise and land package taking in the highlights of India, combining a seven-night Pandaw cruise on the Lower Ganges with stays and sightseeing tours in Kolkata, Delhi, Agra and Jaipur, from £6,299pp.

The range also includes a Mississippi paddle steamer itinerary, taking in Memphis and New Orleans, and European river cruises, including festive sailings with visits to Christmas markets.  

The product range runs from the remainder of 2023 to 2025.
