Classic Collection says customers still want to travel to Turkey despite the series of deadly earthquakes in the country.

The luxury tour operator has released its new dedicated Turkey brochure, featuring 41 properties, including 12 new ones.

Alex Gavalda, Director Internal Sales, Product and Commercial, said: “The ongoing situation in Turkey is very much at the forefront of our minds.

“We are reassured by the fact that a significant number of our customers have been seeking information on whether it is still safe to travel to Turkey.”

He added: “[This] is an encouraging sign that travellers are eager to support the destination at this time.”

Prices for three nights at Palazzo Donizetti Hotel in Istanbul start from £999 per person and seven nights at D-Resort Gocek in Fethiye lead in from £1,469, with return flights, hold luggage and private transfers.

Gavalda added: “Our new brochure caters for the huge variety of enquires which our agents partners come to us with.

“We have the necessary travel expertise, advice and inspiration to deal with more complex itineraries.”

He noted how Turkey bookings had been ‘performing well’ for Classic over the past 12 months, adding that sales were ‘25% ahead of 2019’.

“Holidaymakers will also benefit from the healthy gains that the pound has made against the Turkish Lira, getting 25% more value than 12 months ago,” Gavalda said.

E-brochures are currently downloadable at classic-collection.co.uk and printed brochures can be ordered via Tradegate.
