Bookings are now open for Italy’s first luxury train, La Dolce Vita Orient Express, which will come into service in spring 2025.
The train will offer eight one- or two-night immersive itineraries from the north to the south of the country, including Milan, Florence, Venice and Rome and lesser-known destinations such as Matera in Basilicata, the third oldest city in the world; and the mountainous village Palena, in Abruzzo.
There will be 62 passengers per train, in 12 carriages, featuring 12 deluxe cabins, 18 suites and one La Dolce Vita Suite.
Prices start at €3,500 per person in a deluxe cabin for one night and €4,700 pp in a suite. Find out more here.
