Coach holiday specialist Alfa Travel has removed all single room supplements for 2025 holidays.

The move coincides with the launch of the operator’s 2025 Coach Holidays brochure.

Managing Director Emma Russell said: “Whilst solo travel has always been popular for our customers, we have seen huge growth in guests travelling solo in recent years and we now offer a range of coach holiday breaks that are dedicated to solo travellers.”

Alfa Travel has also introduced a ‘cosy doubles room’ category for solo travellers, who can upgrade for £15 per night.

New to the solo range is a five-day break to South Wales and Bristol, including excursions to Cardiff and Ross-on-Wye, from £399 per person.

Until 30 November, solo travellers can secure their booking through travel agents with a £25 deposit.
