A -ROSA River Cruises has launched two new itineraries that combine a three-night pre or post land-based stay and a trip on the Bernina or Glacier Express with a seven-night Rhine cruise.

Created specifically for the UK market, the cruise will take guests from Switzerland to the Netherlands, or visa versa.

The 11-day Bernina Express & The Rhine itinerary includes two nights in Lake Lugano with the opportunity to travel on the Bernina Express through the Swiss Alps from Tirano to Chur.

After a night in Chur, the trip continues onto Basel by train to embark A-ROSA AQUA.

The cruise stops at Strasbourg, Mainz, Koblenz, Cologne, Willemstad in the Netherlands, Ghent and Antwerp and Amsterdam.

This trip is available weekly between April and September 2023 and prices lead in at £2,999pp.

Also new is the Amsterdam to Basel & The Glacier Express itinerary which combines a cruise from Amsterdam to  Basel with a three-night post cruise stay including a trip on the Glacier Express.

The cruise calls at Hoorn, Emmerich, Cologne, Rudesheim, Germersheim (for Speyer) and Breisach.

On arrival in Basel, guests take the train to Chur for a one-night stay. The following morning they board the Glacier Express for a journey over the Alps to St Moritz where they spend two nights before flying home from Zurich.
