Your Co-op Travel and Carrick Travel are offering cheap COVID tests for customers who book online or at one of their 76 stores.
The kits, supplied by Randox and C19 Testing, cost £21 for an antigen test and £48 for a PCR test.
They can be ordered online direct from the Your Co-op Pharmacy website.
Individual tests or test-kit bundles are available. For an example of prices, a kit including day 2 and day 8 tests costs £96, while kits that include a pre-departure PCR test, an antigen return-home test plus day 2 and day 8 tests cost £164 per person.
The travel retailer said the most searched for destinations for last-minute getaways have been Malta and Croatia, both of which are on the UK’s green travel list, and Majorca, which is on amber.
Mainland Spain, the Balearics, the Canaries, the Greek islands and Cyprus are also seeing an uplift in bookings and enquiries for travel in September and October, it said.
