Wizz Air UK will launch flights to Jersey from both Doncaster Sheffield and Cardiff this summer.

Starting on 9 July, flights will operate on Mondays and Fridays from both airports.

Seats cost from £17.99.

Jersey classified most of England and Wales as ‘green’ on 28 May, with the exception of a few areas with a high number of cases of the Indian variant of COVID, which remain ‘red’.

Arrivals from green areas no longer need to quarantine on arrival in Jersey, but they must be double vaccinated or provide evidence of a negative COVID test.

Wizz Air UK MD Owain Jones said: “The Wizz Air UK team is working hard to ensure that summer 2021 is not cancelled, by continuing to provide low-fare flights to the destinations that our UK customers love to travel to. After an extremely challenging year we know that our customers are looking to get away for some sunshine and relaxation.”
